Summer Kickoff Playlist

I thought I would share with y'all the songs I've currently been jamming out to in the car now that the warm weather is here and it's officially summer! 

Tickled Pink

I think this outfit is perfect for any spring day. It is so classic and easy to throw on; plus, the light pink stripes makes it perfect for spring! I have a tip when it comes to Ralph Lauren button downs: try them on or size up. While this one is still wearable, I wish I would have gone a size up to make it slightly more comfy. No one wants to be the girl who can barely bend her arms because he sleeves are so tight...guilty...

Memorial Day

I love any excuse to break out my red, white, and blue, and Memorial Day fits the bill! These gingham shorts from Francesca's are the perfect statement piece for such an occasion too. They are super flowy and comfy for a summer day/evening, and look adorable paired with these red Kendra Scott earrings. I think the white v-neck makes the outfit more casual and ready for whatever the day throws at you, but a white off the shoulder top would make for a darling top as well. 

Memorial Day Sales

I have found that rompers are the way to go when you don't know the dress code for a certain event. You know, when you feel too casual wearing chino shorts and a nice top but too dressed up in a sundress? Well rompers are the solution! It's the best of both worlds! I love this ivory one; it can be worn in all seasons and always looks so cute. For a more springy look, I paired it with this pastel argyle cardigan which I think is so preppy and darling!

Now while Lauren James' long sleeve sweet tees are not currently sold on their website anymore (they are a fall and winter exclusive) they can still be found at multiple other sources, and let me tell you, they are well worth the money! The shirts are incredibly soft and comfortable; I wear them almost every chance I get!

Nothing says spring like bright colors, and I think this super bright outfit hits the mark! My favorite part of this outfit is the chevron blouse from Francesca's. I love how tailored the sleeves look, and I think it looks very slimming paired with these slightly high waisted pink shorts. 

Weekly Weakness

I have fallen in love with this necklace from Nordstrom recently. I think the royal blue color would just pop with an all white outfit. This statement piece would be the perfect addition to any wardrobe!

Lots of Dots

I find yellow a very difficult color for me to pull off with my hair color and skin tone (I only own two yellow things to be honest), but I try my hardest to for the sake of this outfit because I find it so darn cute! The polka dot pants are a fun way to spice up an outfit, and if the polka dots are enough, the girly peplum tank adds a sweet flare. This outfit has a very polished and innocent look to it that would be perfect for a backyard barbecue or a daytime date.

Feminine Florals

I am dying over this powder blue maxi skirt from Francesca's. I think it is just so beautiful and whimsical for the spring time with the light blue and pink color scheme and dainty floral pattern. I love how light and airy this skirt is. Also, the elastic waistband makes the length of the skirt adjustable, so for my height I have to wear it high waisted (but I'm not complaining!), but for someone taller, they could wear it at their hips and look just as cute! I think this would also, look really pretty with a white flowy crop top. 

Senior Prom

This past Saturday I had my senior prom. *tear* It was a wonderful night with my handsome date Matthew. It was a super hectic weekend, but I'm glad I was still able to allow myself to relax and have fun that night; it was definitely a night to remember.

Ok, let's be real here, I have an unhealthy obsession with red, white, and blue outfits, and it's not going to change anytime soon. So hopefully you love America or something, because this is not the last of my outfits with this color scheme! I just think the colors are so classic together and can be done so many different ways. I think the rhinestone detailing on the top of this striped tank adds just the right amount of sparkle without having to clip on a necklace in the morning (we all know the struggle), and the red cardigan adds a little pop of color to balance everything out!

It has been a little chilly lately, so light layers with skinny jeans has been the perfect outfit this past week. I love how relaxed and effortless this outfit looks, but the addition of the bright coral chandelier earrings adds a little spring and feminine touch which I adore. If it got even warmer throughout the day you could also strip the striped shirt, tie it around your waist, and look just as cute! 

Graduation Dress Picks

If y'all didn't already know, I am currently a senior in high school. Therefore, I am graduating this year, only two weeks left! So I am in the boat of people who have been scouring the Internet for the perfect graduation dress. I know not all schools require white dresses (mine doesn't), but I love the clean look of white dresses, and I think they are very traditional for the occasion. Here are my favorite ones that I have found.
