June Cleaver Inspired Look
Aug 5, 2015
Striped button down, similar here // Pink skirt, similar here // Brown purse // Nude heels // Similar pearl necklace // Gold Wristology watch // Pearl studs // Aviator sunglasses
Today I am sharing with y'all one of my favorite looks of all time. I have been loving the comfiness and effortlessness of button downs recently, but I wanted to style it in a more feminine way. So how could I go wrong with a bright pink skirt, right?! While this outfit is super girly and conservative (which I love!), I think tying the bottom of the skirt rather than just tucking it in adds a nice, trendy touch to the outfit and doesn't make it look too put together or stuffy. This is the perfect date night outfit, which is where I originally wore it or even for going out to lunch or shopping with friends/family. Also, this outfit sort of makes me feel like the stereotypical 1950s housewife, hence the title of this post!
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I've been spending the last few days at the lake (expect a little vacation recap coming up on the blog soon!) Unfortunately my quick getaway has come to an end, and I am heading home today. But that means after nearly a month, I finally get to see Matthew again! I cannot wait to be reunited with my best/boyfriend!
