Even though it hasn't felt like fall much at all here in Kansas, I just couldn't wait any longer to break out my fall clothes. I'm a lot more into light and bright colors so light chambray and cream paired together for the fall is definitely right now my alley. The combination looks super crisp and clean unlike many fall outfits that tend to lean towards the darker end of the spectrum. But I'm still a sucker for the gorgeous fall jewel tones, so this beautiful statement necklace I got from Red Dress Boutique a while back was the perfect touch of fall glamour for this outfit. 

I was really feeling the whole preppy vibe from this outfit, so I decided to allow my glasses to be featured in this post. I typically only wear my glasses when I really need them, such as class, when I drive and to read menus at fast food restaurants; honestly, I should probably wear them all the time, but to be honest I have this really weird problem where I have a hard time walking with them on. (I don't know why, they just do) And why do I not just opt for contacts?? Well I tried that for a week and then decided that I didn't want to spend 30 minutes in the morning attempting to put them in. 

Finally, sorry for being a little MIA and all over the place lately. Balancing school work, greek life, social life and sleeping has just been crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way. With that said, I'm going to try extra hard to get fully back into the swing of things!
