Casual Date

I have constantly been going back to this outfit recently, probably because it is simple to put together and comfy yet still looks like I put effort into my outfit. Light layering has become my go to look recently with the spring-like weather.

Burgundy + Blush

TOP: American Eagle Outfitters (old, similar HERE) | VEST: J.Crew Factory (similar HERE) | SCARF: Wine houdstooth woven scarf (less than $10!) | JEANS: Abercrombie & Fitch dark wash jean leggings | SHOES: L.L.Bean Bean boots | SOCKS: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE) | PURSE: ASOS New Look stab stitch 'Wendy' (sold out, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Kendra Scott 'Logan' 'iridescent drusy' stud earrings | NECKLACES: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' iridescent drusy' pendant necklace and similar monogrammed necklace HERE | LIPS: Revlon Colorbust matte balm 'sultry'

I would've never imagined burgundy and blush working so well together, but wow, was I surprised. It is now one of my favorite color combinations! It's perfect for adding a little brightness to your winter wardrobe and transitioning into a spring color palate. Also, this burgundy herringbone scarf is not only super warm but it's also less than $10! Could you honestly ask for a better deal?!

Red Coat

COAT: similar HERE and HERE | SHIRT: Gap (old, similar HERE) | SKIRT: J.Crew Factory ivory flared skirt (less than $20!) | TIGHTS: Gap opaque tights | SHOES: L.L. Bean Bean boots | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl studs | NECKLACE: similar HERE | RING: Bridge Jewelry cubic zirconia double eternity band ring | LIPS: Revlon ColorBurst laquer balm

With Valentine's Day literally right around the corner it's about time to start locking down your outfit. Unfortunately, where I live it's a tad too cold for me to go prancing around in a cute pink mini dress, but this bold, red coat may be the answer to my problems.

Olive Suede

DRESS: Altar'd State (sold out, similar HERE| CARDIGAN: Red Dress Boutique (old, similar HERE| TIGHTS: Gap opaque tights | SHOES: L.L.Bean Bean boots | SOCKS: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE) | PURSE: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl studs | RINGS: Bridge Jewelry cubic zirconia double eternity band ring and Kendra Scott 'Miles' midi rings | LIPS: Revlon ColorBurst matte balm 'Sultry'

With this season's 70s comeback, suede made it into every self proclaimed fashionista's wardrobe as well. It seemed as if everyone had picked up one of the button up suede skirts (don't get me wrong, they're super cute!), but I wanted to find a suede piece that was unique.

Rocksbox Unboxing

Some girls may still be holding out for that little blue box from Tiffany's, but I have taken matters into my own hands by subscribing to Rocksbox, where a pristine, little white box will surprise me at my doorstep. Sometimes you just have to treat yo self! (for only $19 a month too!) But with the code "autumnmerraexoxo" you can get a FREE month of stunning designer jewelry pieces!

Ralph Lauren Olive Quilted Jacket

For the days when it's not cold enough to wear a puffy coat but also not warm enough to just throw on a cardigan, I keep gravitating towards this Ralph Lauren quilted jacket I scored at T.J. Maxx. It is the perfect piece for layering as it is pretty roomy inside, and the leather detailing is absolutely beautiful. I paired it with a lightweight, casual turtleneck tee for this look, but it would also look cute paired with a cream cable knit sweater for a warmer look. You could also add a burgundy plaid scarf for a fun mix of patterns!
