With this season's 70s comeback, suede made it into every self proclaimed fashionista's wardrobe as well. It seemed as if everyone had picked up one of the button up suede skirts (don't get me wrong, they're super cute!), but I wanted to find a suede piece that was unique.
You know the common saying that you'll find what you're looking for when you least expect it? That's what happened to me. I stumbled upon this suede beauty in the clearance section at Altar'd State, and I couldn't say no, not only because it was absolutely darling with its crochet detailing and mock neck but also because it was 50% off! Steal!
The only warning I have when it comes to buying suede pieces, is that in the winter time when static is one of your worst enemies your dress will fall victim. I tried everything from hairspray to dryer sheets, and nothing kept it from sticking to me.
