Final 13

One of the craziest months of my life is coming to an end today! Balancing my schoolwork, social life and blogging was quite the whirlwind, but I wouldn't have wished it any other day. As always, in the spirit of the last day of the month, I'm sharing with y'all the last 13 photos on my phone's camera roll!

Simple Seersucker

DRESS: Southern Grace Co. (old, similar HERE and HERE) | SHOES: Jessica Simpson 'Calie' (less than $50!) | EARRINGS: Kendra Scott 'Danielle' earrings (Rocksbox, get a free month with the code "autumnmerraexoxo")| BELT: similar HERE | WATCH: Wristology 'Rachel' gold boyfriend watch

Spring = Seersucker. I literally cannot wait for the opportunity to start wearing seersucker again when the springtime rolls around each year. It's such a lightweight and staple fabric that is truly timeless. I love this lavender frock because it was super cheap and it's hard to say no to purple (go cats!).

To My Absent Father

Dear Dad,

Congratulations, you were the first man to ever break my heart.

Toning Down Neon

TOP: J.Crew Factory (old, similar HERE) | SKIRT: J.Crew Factory sidewalk skirt | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' pendant necklace | WATCH: Wristology 'Rachel' gold boyfriend watch | RING: Kendra Scott 'Miles' midi rings

Neon often becomes harder and harder to pull off as we get older; I don't know if it's just me, but neon brings me right back to my middle school days when I shopped at Limited Too. Although, in this outfit not only is the neon balanced out by the white in the tee, but the neutral browns I paired it with also help keep the outfit in the perfect balance of fun and mature.

A Sunny Disposition

TOP: T.J. Maxx (old, similar HERE) | BRALETTE: Impressions Boutique halter lace bralette | SKIRT: J.Crew Factory flared skirt (sold out, similar HERE and HERE) | SHOES: Jessica Simpson 'Calie' | PURSE: Michael Kors (old, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Altar'd State (old, similar HERE| NECKLACE: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' pendant necklace | WATCH: Wristology 'Rachel' gold boyfriend watch | RING: Rocksbox (use the code 'autumnmerraexoxo' for a free month!)

While Manhattan may be gloomy and the tornado warnings affluent, I'm not letting that bring down my bright, spring outfits, and what better way to brighten things up than with neon yellow and hot pink?! I love how light and airy this outfit is, and the define waist of the skirt and lace bralette add the perfect feminine flare for the season.

White + Periwinkle

TOP: old, similar HERE | SHORTS: Loft (sold out, similar HERE and HERE) | SHOES: Jessica Simpson 'Calie' | PURSE: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' pendant necklace | WATCH: Daniel Wellington 'Classic St. Mawes' leather strap watch, 36mm

I have always had a thing for peasant style blouses; there's just something about the feminine and airy style that draws me back every time. Today I paired this blouse with a bright and conservative pair of periwinkle chino shorts for a cool and bright spring look.

Fanny Packs are Back

Here's a throwback piece, that was bound to come back in style and has taken the Greek communities on college campuses by storm. They are practical, lightweight and easy to carry if you're on the run, as they can carry all the essentials without be bulky and annoying. I like this one because it has a cute and unique pattern, and it's super affordable! There are also a bunch of fanny packs available for other sororities or just plain ones HERE

Comfy & Cute

Sometimes when I'm not feeling the "srat uniform" of oversized Comfort Colors t-shirts and leggings or norts, I opt for a cute tank top with cropped leggings. It's a feminine yet comfortable combination that I've been loving lately. I have especially loved these cropped leggings; I'm not over exaggerating when I say they are the comfiest leggings I have ever worn. Want to know the best part? This heavenly piece is only $15!

Grace and Lace

This gorgeous pink lace dress is the epitome of grace, class and femininity as far as dresses go. The delicate lace detailing on the bottom and the cap sleeves is absolutely beautiful, and I personally love illusion necklines which made me even more drawn to this piece.

Vineyard Vines + Ripped Jeans

While I tend wear my t-shirts with leggings or norts, pairing them with jeans can add for a more put together yet comfy, casual look that is hard to mess up. Vineyard Vines has one of the highest quality and comfiest t-shirts I have ever worn, and with American Eagle's jeggings, it's almost as comfy of an outfit as it would be with leggings. I topped off the outfit with some boat shoes (because Vineyard Vines and Sperry are just a match made in heaven) and neutral jewelry.

No Phone or No Privacy

Today, with children having access to technology unlike any generation before, parents are having a hard time figuring out how to balance their child's relationship with such technology. Where is the line between having them live beyond the screen and making them give up today's main social tool? Then there also comes the threat of online creeps, sexting, cyberbullying, etc. that goes along with the various social media the Internet and smart phones give us access to.

But there comes a point where enough is enough. I've heard about parents asking for passwords to all of their children's accounts (which can be understandable at a certain age), but the issue I find is when they install all of their children's social media accounts on their own phone, go through their messages and ban phones in certain rooms. Your house, your rules, I get that, but there comes a point where parents are breaking the bond of trust between their children more so than protecting them.

Orange Sherbet

SWEATER: T.J. Maxx (not available online, similar HERE| SKIRT: J.Crew Factory flared skirt (sold out, similar HERE and HERE) | SHOES: Mossimo Supply Co. 'Layla' sneaker | PURSE: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | WATCH: Daniel Wellington 'Classic St. Mawes' leather strap watch, 36mm

If you haven't noticed yet, I've had this skirt on repeat the past couple weeks. There are just endless ways to style this versatile and classic piece. Today I chose to style it with a pastel striped sweater and tennis shoes for a casual and cute look.

Walking on the Sunshine

DRESS: Dillard's (not available online, similar HERE| SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE| PURSE: Francesca's (old, similar HERE| EARRINGS: Kendra Scott 'Danielle' earrings (got mine through Rocksbox, use the code "autumnmerraexoxo" for a free month) | WATCH: Wristology Rachel gold boyfriend watch

I may be giving the color yellow a second chance. For the longest time I used to absolutely despise the color yellow; I just wasn't a huge fan of it in general and didn't think it looked very nice on me either, but believe it or not, I fell in love with this bright yellow maxi dress. It has an extremely flattering shape to it, and it is the perfect length with wedges.

Paisley Print Romper

ROMPER: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE and HERE| SHOES: Tommy Hilfiger 'Lenita' thong sandals (sold out, similar HERE) | PURSE: similar HERE | SUNGLASSES: Clubmaster tortoise sunglasses | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' pendant necklace

I am head over heels for this blue and white romper, paisley print romper. It has such as slimming cut to it, and the bell sleeves are perfectly on trend this season! It will also be the perfect piece for the summertime with the blue and white color combination.

Stop and Smell the Roses

DRESS: Spool No. 72 clover rose dress | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE) | PURSE: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Kendra Scott 'Elisa' pendant necklace | WATCH: Wristology Rachel gold boyfriend watch

While it may seem like my number of floral dresses is endless, this one is by far my favorite one this year! I am absolutely in love with the dusty pink rose pattern, and the material of the dress is so lightweight that it would be perfect to wear on super warm days! The dress is also very slimming for not having a fitted silhouette; I was really surprised! Plus, who doesn't love a dress that twirls when you spin?!

Lady in Lace

TOP: Francesca's (old, similar HERE) | SKIRT: J.Crew Factory flared skirt (sold out, similar HERE and HERE) | SHOES: Jessica Simpson Calie | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | WATCH: Wristology Rachel gold boyfriend watch

Pink is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors this year, and this lace patterned blouse had the perfect pop of hot pink. Besides the beautiful and unique pattern on the blouse, it is also super lightweight which makes it perfect for warmer weather. Instead of heels, I also paired this look with brown sandals for a more casual and comfortable approach.

Blue Detailing

TOP: Marshalls (not available online, similar HERE and HERE) | JEANS: Abercrombie & Fitch dark wash jean leggings | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE) | PURSE: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | WATCH: Wristology Rachel gold boyfriend watch | SUNGLASSES: Clubmaster tortoise sunglasses

I have always loved the classic color combination of white and blue, and this flowy, white embroidered tank is the perfect piece for the spring and summer. The lightweight and airy texture to it lend a feminine vibe while still being perfectly modest with the high neckline.

Classic Prep

It's hard to go wrong with a simple striped tee; the options of what to pair it with are ultimately endless. Recently, I have been obsessed with this skirt from J.Crew Factory. I love the simplicity of it, and it is flattering on almost any body type! Plus, it has pockets, so what more could you really want in a skirt? Simplicity, diversity, functionality.

Flirty Florals

I know what you're probably thinking, "Another floral dress, Autumn?? Really?", but you know what, I'm not even sorry. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: the springtime brings out my feminine side including all things bright, floral and fancy.

Polka Dot Pants

TOP: T.J. Maxx (not available online, similar HERE) | PANTS: Love Culture (old, similar HERE) | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE| PURSE: Michael Kors (old, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Kendra Scott 'Danielle' earrings c/o (Rocksbox| WATCH: Wristology Rachel gold boyfriend watch

I think I have found my favorite spring outfit for this year. I fell in love when I found this simple yet darling tank at T.J. Maxx a couple weeks ago; I love how bright and light weight it is. Also, since the top is so simple, it looked perfect with my statement polka dot pants, which I always love to find new ways to style. They are such a fun and feminine touch to an outfit! And rather than pairing a simple black or nude purse with the outfit, I opted for a hot pink clutch to add another pop of color to the already bright outfit.
