Neon often becomes harder and harder to pull off as we get older; I don't know if it's just me, but neon brings me right back to my middle school days when I shopped at Limited Too. Although, in this outfit not only is the neon balanced out by the white in the tee, but the neutral browns I paired it with also help keep the outfit in the perfect balance of fun and mature.
Neon in the late spring and summertime also looks nice paired with white pants/shorts or as a solid color on a dress/romper, without being overbearing.
