Yesterday I shared with y'all my favorite transitional top, and today I'm sharing my favorite bottoms for this awkward lull between seasons. Loving is an understatement for how much I am obsessed with these high waisted, tailored shorts. The light taupe/brown pattern is perfect for the approaching fall weather!
Besides the fall-esque pattern, what I love most about these shorts is the cinched, high waisted waistline. I think it's very slimming and elongates the legs a bit, especially since I'm a little on the shorter side of the spectrum
The possibilities for how these shorts can be styled is endless. For today's post I paired them with a dark chambray button up, which beautifully darkens the outfit a little bit for fall, but you could also pair them with a plain white long sleeve tee and brown sandals for an even more causal look. Also, once the weather cools down, an olive or burgundy cardigan or pullover would look super cute paired with this style of shorts!
Thank you Scoobie for sponsoring this post!
