What to Wear for Gameday with Fortuity

Football season is FINALLY here! While I may not be the biggest sports fan ever, I do love the excuse to dress up and the game day experience as a whole, so needless to say, I'm super pumped for the first K-State home game tomorrow!

The issue I constantly run into when picking outfits for gamedays is finding cute, purple pieces. You don't realize how little options there are until you're on the hunt the week of the game! Sure, I could wear black or white as well, but I feel so bland. Thankfully, our local boutique, Fortuity, has all of us covered when searching for gameday outfits, especially if you've waited till the last minute like me.

Today I'm going to share with y'all three of my favorite purple gameday looks from Fortuity for this weekend, and at the end I'll add some of my top gameday tips!

Also, Fortuity is offering all of you $5 off your purchase in stores or online today with you mention the name "Autumn" at checkout, so be sure to take advantage of that deal too!

DRESS: Fortuity (available in stores or 785-532-9140) c/o | BRALETTE: Aerie lace bralette | BOOTS: Boot Barn | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Francesca's (old, similar HERE) | LIPS: Revlon ColorBurst matte balm in 'Sultry'

I feel like this dress paired with boots embodies the small town, central Kansas atmosphere of K-State. While the purple isn't necessarily "K-State purple" it is definitely still appropriate for gameday and will set you apart from the crowd.

While the shape of the dress gives an effortless look, the ruffled hem gives the ultimate feminine flare, and the shiny gold tassel necklace added just the right amount of glam for this city girl.

Also, a pair of cowboy boots is basically an essential for gameday at any school in the Midwest and South. I haven't owned a pair of cowboy boots in years, but I cannot wait to get some use out of these this football season as they go with nearly any outfit.

If you would rather sport a collegiate graphic tee for gameday, Fortuity has you covered. They currently have so many flowy and soft tees that would look great paired with a denim skirt, flowy shorts, a black or white skater skirt or even a black corduroy skirt if you're going for an edgier look.

I opted to pair this flowy tee with a casual denim skirt and sandals to elongate my legs a little. At least in my case, pairing this look with boots would have looked way too busy, and the sandals are an extremely comfortable option which is essential for when you'll be standing all day.

HERE is a post from last year where I paired another K-State tee with a white skater skirt.

DRESS: Fortuity (available in stores or 785-532-9140) c/o | BRALETTE: Aerie lace bralette | BOOTS: Boot Barn | EARRINGS: Lauren Ralph Lauren faux pearl stud earrings | NECKLACE: Fortuity (bought last year, might still have them in stores) | LIPS: Revlon ColorBurst matte balm in 'Sultry'

I personally love dresses for gameday as they are an effortless, comfortable and cool option for the long, hot days. I love how this one has a little more glamorous vibe to it than the previous one, and it has pockets (!!!) so you can't really beat that!

I also love the open back of the dress; it's so beautiful. And the dainty, sorority necklace is a nice and simple touch to pair with such a bright colored dress.

P.s. sorry about my awful tan lines in these pictures!

Gameday Tips:

1. Beware of bag restrictions especially at K-State where they just recently changed. You either need to go with an extremely small purse or a clear bag. Hear me out, some of you may think clear bags are tacky and cheap looking, but I found one HERE that looks super nice and won't cramp your style come gameday!

2. Bring layers if it is going to cool down at night. Trust me, there is nothing worse that shivering in your boots once the sun sets. Tie a cardigan around your waist so you're not miserable if the game goes into the evening.

3. Hit up your local boutiques for gameday pieces especially if you go to a school with unique colors like K-State. Fortuity is a great and affordable option here in Manhattan, and I've also found some great pieces at looking at online at boutiques in Baton Rouge, LA since LSU's colors also include purple.

Thank you Fortuity for sponsoring this post!
