Today's elegant, sophisticated yet young look is inspired by none other than one of my top style icons (despite being fictitious) Blair Waldorf. Just throw on one of her signature headbands, and I think the Queen B would give you her sign of approval.
I always used to wonder about the practicality of sleeveless sweaters, doesn't not having sleeves completely defeat the point of having a sweater? But I have started loving them, especially during when you want to dress in fall clothes, but it's still so hot outside. You can also just throw on a pea coat when it gets colder outside, if you still want to wear them into the winter.
I am also loving this black pleated suede skirt. It's such a unique and elegant option compared to the button up suede skirt everyone and their mother has been wearing this year. Plus, this skirt is a 10/10 when it comes to its twirling capabilities, so it's a win in my book!
How was everyone's weekend? I definitely can't complain about mine! Friday night we found out that my sorority won Pant Chant (YAY!) and that we placed 4th overall in Homecoming. Then on Saturday, my friend Nicole went out to dinner, pretended we were looking into adopting a cat just so we could play with kittens and then went shopping for some jewelry for next weekend! I actually can't wait to share my look for semi formal with y'all soon!
Thank you Scoobie for sponsoring this post!
