Coveting Corduroy

TOP: Altar'd State (available in stores, similar HERE) | SKIRT: Scoobie (available in stores or 913-461-4861, similar HERE) | SHOES:  Madden Girl 'Remiie' sandals | EARRINGS: similar HERE | NECKLACE: Altar'd State braids of love chocker necklace | LIPS: Revlon ColorBurst matte balm

A mini corduroy skirt has been my go-to piece for taking my fall looks from drab to fab. It not only adds dimension but also pulls everything together for a fun and flirty look.

This look is especially appropriate for the weather in Kansas right now, with the temperatures still reaching the 80s during midday, but if you live in a cooler area, simply throw on an oversized cardigan and booties for a slightly warmer look. Also, I'm so in love with this corduroy skirt that I have a couple more looks featuring it coming soon, so stay tuned!

I don't know about y'all, but my week has been off to a rather awful start. I have been so sick the past two days...it came out of nowhere. Sunday night I went to bed perfectly fine, and Monday morning I wake up feeling like I'm on my death bed. Hopefully I start feeling better soon because I don't know how much more I can take of this!

Thank you Scoobie for sponsoring this post!
