Friday Favorites

Hey y'all! Is it just me or did this week going by extremely slow? It's felt like Friday since Monday for me, so I am extremely happy it's finally here! And since it's Friday, I'm sharing with y'all some of my favorites from this past week!

Fashion Finds

In the widget below I linked up this beautiful silk skater skirt that also comes in this dreamy light blue color that I think would looked absolutely stunning for the upcoming holidays. I can already picture how glamorous it would look paired with a blush or white blouse and black tights! I also linked a burnt orange, cropped, turtleneck sweater that would be too cute paired with a burgundy corduroy skirt or high waisted pants for the fall time!

Along with the skirt, I've been loving several other silk pieces lately. Honestly, is there a more glamorous fabric? This blush shirt dress is to die for; imagine it paired with black tights and over the knee boots along with some layering for a beautiful December ensemble. Also, this light purple, silk, bell sleeve blouse would look beauitful during the fall paired with burgundy pants and a fur vest or with black pants for a gameday look!

I've also been really drawn to statement earrings lately. Francesca's is by far one of my favorite jewelry destinations, and I've had my eyes set on this dusty purple/pink pair of tassel earrings!

Julia's recent trip to Vermont has had me yearning to see the beauty fall has to offer in New England first hand. I've never seen such picturesque fall foliage; it's photos like these that make me love being named after such a beautiful season. Along with showing off her dream worthy adventures, Julia also has fall fashion down to a tee!

I also loved reading this post by Julia this week. I constantly talk about how I love finding ways to tie the color pink into my fall looks, and her blush corduroy skirt paired with a cropped turtleneck sweater is absolutely darling! I would love to have this outfit in my closet!

I've been blogging for almost two years now, and I still haven't found a successful way for me to balance blogging alongside school. Far too many times my blog has suffered due to school. While academics should always been a number one priority, Lauren shared some helpful and unique tips on how to stay organized in order to balance the two. When I have a moment to breathe, I may start putting a couple of these into practice.

I know it's not even Halloween yet, but is it ever too early to start thinking about holiday outfits? While I couldn't picture myself wearing this outfit at the time being, I absolutely love how glamorous Olivia looks in this full tulle skirt.

DIY Circus Performer Halloween Costumes

I'll let you in on a little secret, deciding on a Halloween costume stresses me out. Thankfully, I'm going home this Halloween weekend so I don't have to worry about it this year, but Lauren Conrad shared these adorable DIY circus costumes that are so fun and feminine!

Moments

This past week has been Homecoming Week here at K-State, so it's been crazy but so fun! Sunday night we kicked it off with Pant the Chant, a step/cheer competition between all the Greek Homecoming pairings. I was one of the heads for our pairing for Pant the Chant, and I was so proud of everyone because I think they did amazing! There have been several other events throughout the week, and this evening is the Homecoming Parade and the pep rally where we find out how everyone placed in all of the events.

I also got to play with the cutest kitten Wednesday night! One of my sorority sisters let some of my friends and I come over to see her kitten, and it was just too cute! It made me a 1000x more excited to go home and see my cats next weekend!

Finally, I also scored a date to semi formal next weekend! I still haven't 100% decided on what I'm wearing...but I'll figure it out eventually.
