Often times when I put on an oversized scarf I feel like I'm drowning in it, but a way I've found to counteract feeling like I've lost all my shape is by pairing it with a fitted dress.
Even though I've had this dress since the beginning of high school and I snatched this scarf from my sister's closet, this look is fairly easy to recreate.
I love the pairing of these two because the solid teal dress pulls out the teal details in the plaid of the scarf, making them perfectly complimentary to one another. Also, the rusty orange color of the scarf is perfect for the fall time, and I'm really liking trying out these knee high boots! I think the little extra coverage from the boots covering more of the knee compensates for the dress being on the shorter side.
