Friday Favorites

Everyone and their mother in Kansas has been complaining about the warm, upper 70s weather, we've been having all of fall; meanwhile, I'm here loving it! I never have and never will be a fan of the cold. I don't mind typical fall weather, but once it starts cooling down I know cold weather is right around the corner. I'm just not ready for that yet! Although, despite the weather, as stores are starting to filter out their fall products and welcome in their holiday collections, here's another Friday favorites!

Fashion Finds

I love the first pair of boots in the widget above in the color 'chestnut suede', but I just can't justify spending that much on a pair of shoes, no matter how cute they are! Luckily, I found a very similar pair at Francesca's that may hold me over! I also would love to have this oversize gingham shirt in my closet from J.Crew Factory. The oversized pattern makes it a little more unique, and the burgundy color is simply irresistible for the end of fall!

Ok y'all, I think I'm officially pink obsessed. I started heavily gravitating towards pink pieces during the spring and summer, assuming that it would pass come fall time, but I'm here to say it's only gotten worse. I have been loving finding ways to incorporate the feminine color into my wardrobe year round, and I thought I'd share with y'all a couple of my favorite pink pieces I've found this week!

I have been loving off the shoulder sweaters this season; I think they're so feminine and perfect for dates! Unfortunately, I'm super picky when it comes to finding one I actually want to purchase, but I found this baby pink one from Goodnight Macaroon that's perfect! Not only is the color gorgeous, but I also love the long hemline that makes it easily wearable with leggings.

In the spring/summer I picked up this adorable, blush/pink crossbody bag, but unfortunately it's a little too bright to be carried over into the cooler months. I found the most beautiful and perfect blush handbag from Red Dress Boutique yesterday, and I'm obsessed. I need to get my hands on it ASAP.

Also, remember last week when I talked about how I was really loving all the satin pieces popping up lately? Well I just found the top for me; it's satin, blush and off the shoulder! Does it get much better than that? No, no it does not!

Finally, to wrap up my endless list of my must have pink items for this month, Aerie released this blush, oversized scarf this week. But listen here, it's not your typical oversized scarf, it's fuzzy too!

Now through November 13th Nordstrom is having a fall clearance sale. It's a great opportunity to snag some fall pieces you loved earlier this season at a lower price. While I didn't go through all 155 pages of products, I'm sharing what caught my eye at first glance. There are also a ton of really cute shoes on sale!

Despite being pretty far away from 30, I still found many of these tips relevant to my age group. I personally really liked #29. I find too many people, myself included, forgetting that "real life" doesn't begin once you're out of college, have your own home, married, etc. Rather, we are living in right now, and we shouldn't be waiting for certain milestones to start living life to the fullest.

While this blog post is mainly focused on the car, I am loving Brighton's outfit, especially her olive suede leggings. It's just the ultimate cozy, outdoorsy, fall look. But on a serious note, I think the Range Rover 2017 can officially be declared as my dream car. Convertible SUV? I'm in!

There are few things I love more than a good love story, and I've always loved high school sweetheart stories best! The couples in this article, all from different age brackets, shared some great tips on how their love has evolved over time.

Remember those Ugg OTK boots I raved about earlier in this post? Here's them actually styled with an easy, everyday, fall outfit!

After my traumatic experience driving back to Manhattan Monday morning (my car freaked out, the speedometer and all my other dials turned off, meanwhile, every warning light possible came on during the last 15 minutes of my drive), this week has been pretty ordinary besides actually dressing in something other than a t-shirt and leggings everyday for class. We'll see if I revert back to my normal dressing habits next week!
