Periwinkle Semi Formal Dress
Nov 9, 2016
DRESS: Goodnight Macaroon | SHOES: Missguided burgundy heels | EARRINGS: Francesca's (available in stores, similar HERE) | LIPS: Revlon ColorStay moisture lip stain in 'Parisian Passion'
I have a hard time letting go of my brights once the cooler months roll around, but I found the perfect way to transition this periwinkle dress into the fall!
I absolutely love the color and cut of this dress. The periwinkle color can work spring summer and even fall if you play around with the accessories. The side cut-outs and the ruffle hem also add a young and fun flare to all over lace dress. While I absolutely love this dress, it did run pretty small and short.
What I really love about this look is the burgundy accents. I wouldn't say periwinkle is a typical fall clothing color but paired with a few burgundy accessories it can totally work! I bought these simple yet beautiful suede heels for less than $25 with a student discount from Missguided, and I can't wait to style them with many more fall and winter looks. I also picked up a pair of burgundy statement earrings from Francesca's, and if I would've needed a purse for the occasion, I would have picked up this small, velvet, burgundy bag.
