When walking to and from campus in college it is essential to have a coat you can wear everyday to fight the bitter cold. Walking 20 minutes to class is already bad enough, no need to make it worse by not having suitable outerwear! (me last winter...) Over break I made it my personal mission to find a neutral, everyday coat, and I think I hit the jackpot with this one from Land's End.
When I was hunting for coats, finding one that was long enough to cover my bum was a top priority. It honestly makes the world of a difference!! I also knew I wanted to find a black one, so it would match everything. Once I stumbled upon this one, I knew I had to have it; it met all of my criteria, and it is super lightweight, without compromising warmth, so you don't feel like a giant marshmallow walking around.
If you're looking for a durable and versatile winter coat, I would highly recommend Land's End. The coat I was wearing previously was also from Land's End; I've had it since 8th grade, and it barely shows any wear! The only reason I wanted to get another is because it was a little too short for my cold walks everyday.
How is everyone's week going? I just started classes again yesterday, and while I'm starting to feel pretty overwhelmed, I think this will be a fun semester!
