We would all love to have bank accounts full enough to adorn ourselves with the hottest trends each season, but unfortunately we often times have to give ourselves a reality check and realize a $2,000 purse probably isn't the best investment at this point in our lives. But just because you can't afford that designer piece you see on your favorite fashion blogger that doesn't mean you're totally at a loss. More often than not you can find a nearly identical version for a fraction of the price!
Today I'm sharing with y'all dupes of five of the most popular accessories I've seen this spring, and in my opinion, the cheaper options are all way cuter!
Leopard Print Clutch
Clare V. clutch vs. BP. clutch
Leopard print has been making a comeback in the accessory department for a couple years now, but this year it seems to be more popular than ever. I love when leopard print clutches are paired with a bright sundress; it's a neutral colored piece but also adds a lot of depth to the look. If someone hid the price tags and showed me these two clutches side by side, I'd pick the BP. version again and again. I think the lighter pattern is much cuter for warm weather looks!
Tassel Earrings
MISA earrings vs. Baublebar earrings
We've seen beaded tassel earrings run their course the past couple years, and while they're definitely not "out" yet, different variations like these are a fun way to mix it up! If I were to buy a pair I'd definitely go for the cheaper version, not only because of the reasonable price tag but also because they are much smaller and more wearable in my opinion.
Espadrille Wedges
Chloe sandals vs. Marc Fisher sandals
I'm a little embarrassed to say I just learned how to pronounce "espadrille" last week (#fail), but I think it's safe to say these are the trendiest shoes out right now! They're a super cute, neutral shoe to pair with dresses all spring and summer long. As you can see, these two shoes are extremely similar with incredibly different price tags, so the cheaper version seems like the obvious choice to me! There's also tons espadrille variations out there right now at even lower price points, so I'd recommend checking all those out too!
Pink Crossbody
Chloe bag vs. Sole Society bag
My pink crossbody has been a staple in my closet recently. It's such a pretty pop of color, and I love the unique shape! While the Chloe bag initially brought the rounder shape into style, there are so many cheaper versions out there now like this Sole Society one that gives you the same look without the hefty price! I've also been eyeing the powder blue version!
Studded Sandals
Valentino sandal vs. Target sandal
A neutral sandal is a must have for the spring and summer, and I've been loving studded ones lately. They add a hint of sparkle and a little something extra while still being versatile enough to wear with nearly anything! I have been really impressed with Target's shoe department this season. Online they've added this pair at a much more reasonable price compared to the Valentino pair, and they also have this heeled pair that I have been wearing every chance I get!
