Black and blue isn't a color combination I see very often, which is why I was instantly drawn to this summery top from Scoobie!
We already know that I'm a sucker for anything with blue in it, but the beautiful embroidery and gauzy material makes this a perfect summer top. I love the babydoll cut, and I can't get over how cool the embroidery along the bottom looks. Also, while I typically gravitate towards sleeveless or short sleeve tops in the summer, the material of this top is so lightweight that never broke a sweat!
Lightweight long sleeves also come to your rescue when you're trying to hide a sunburn but still want to enjoy the sun. That's definitely been a struggle of mine lately! No matter how well I think I apply sunblock I still manage to get burned somewhere.
To finish the look off, I kept the bottoms and shoes pretty basic. The top was already pretty busy with all the embroidery, so I stuck with a pair of black distressed shorts and brown slides.
