The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays to create outfits for. I love the challenge of finding the perfect balance between comfy and cute, and let's just say there's never been a shortage of red, white and blue in my closet!

My plans for the Fourth are so different from year to year, but I always end up spending the entire day outdoors with either my friends or family. Therefore, comfort is a main priority of mine when choosing an outfit. This outfit from Scoobie is perfect for me because the lightweight henley and chambray skirt are extremely comfortable, while the bow adds a nice feminine touch, which is a necessity for me!

Also, for comfort's sake I'd probably switch out the wedges for either sandals or white tennis shoes; in past years I've been on my feet the entire day so anything other than those two choices is simply not an option! Finally, I never miss the chance to wear my red lipstick for the Fourth. I'd say a bold red lip is the cherry on top of the perfect 4th of July outfit!

What are y'all's plans for the 4th of July this year? Do y'all have any traditions, or do you switch it up every year like me? This year I'll be spending the holiday in Portland, so if y'all have any suggestions on what to do or see while I'm there I'd love to know in the comments below!
