Purple Beaded Necklace

T-3 days until the first K-State football game! While I may not be going to the game because I'm going home for Labor Day weekend, that doesn't mean I'm not going to start getting excited and sharing some gameday inspiration for y'all including this purple beaded necklace

Despite being an avid K-Stater for the past two years, purple is a color that my closet is desperately lacking. I have had the worst luck in finding purple outfits that I love, so time and time again I've defaulted to wearing something black or white and showing my purple pride through my accessories. That's why when I saw this purple necklace at Altar'd State this summer I picked it up immediately knowing it would be the cherry on top of all my gameday looks!

I'm even excited to style it further into the fall as well because I think it'll be a nice and muted hint of color for tons of outfits!

I also want to touch on this dress really quick. It had raving reviews on Lulu's website, so maybe I just received a defective one or something, but everything about this dress has been a hot mess. First it was wet and therefore smelled terrible when I took it out of the packaging, but not having enough time to return it before recruitment, I decided to try to make it work. I solved the initial problem by washing it, but once I tried it on it was insanely short. On top of the uncomfortable length, the fabric is very rough and wrinkles so easily, so based off my experience I would not recommend purchasing this exact dress. Although, with that being said, I do love the neckline, so maybe next summer I can find one similar that is better quality!

Are any of y'all going to the K-State game this weekend? While I love college football games, going home to see my sister cheer for her first high school varsity game and spending time with my family seemed more enticing this weekend!
