Happy Monday y'all! I'm not going to lie, I was dragging this morning; between waking up to thunderstorms and the pure idea of it being Monday, getting out of bed was by no means a small undertaking. But the dreary day reminded me of the day I spent in Aspen, Colorado this summer! It was overcast and rainy the whole day I was there, but that didn't stop my family and I from exploring the area. 

Los Angeles Travel Diary

Today I want to share with y'all the longest stop on my family and I's West Coast roadtrip, Los Angeles. We spent two full days here, one exploring the city and the other enjoying Venice Beach. While I'm sure we only made a dent in everything there is to do and see in the city, we made the most of our 48 hours! My brother is now set on living here when he grows up, and while I had so much fun experiencing LA, I think I'll stick to living vicariously through my favorite TV shows!

Don't mind me, I'm just looking back on my summer beach days while everyone else is in full on "fall mode". While I love fall fashion, it's no secret that summer is my favorite time of the year. For me summer brings time to read, family adventures and, best of all, beach days! This July I spent a couple days at Venice Beach, and it was a great change of pace (and temperature!!) compared to the week prior spent in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
