Overalls for Fall

This may just be the most "Kansas" outfit I ever share with y'all! I think the last time I had worn overalls was when I was a toddler, but surprisingly, they have come back in style this season. I had seen tons of other people style them in the cutest ways, but I didn't think I'd be able to pull them off until I came across this pair from Scoobie that fit like a glove!  

It's still fairly warm where I live, so I paired them with this orange henley from Madwell that I also think is very appropriate color-wise for October. If it was chillier out I'd opt for a crewneck sweater like this one or this one to keep me warm. I kept all of my accessories simple and wore my leather brown booties to make the whole look a little less farm girl!  

I know it's already Tuesday, but how was everyone's weekend? I personally had one of the BEST! I went home to KC, and Thursday morning I went a photoshoot for Do Good Co., a curated goods store that supports the local non-profit community. Then Thursday night I went to the runway show for KC Fashion Week, which was amazing! I met a handful of other local bloggers including Hannah from Rose Lining and Amy Ly (two of the sweetest women ever!), and so many of the designs on the runway were stunning! The rest of the weekend I spent with family. My sister cheered at her high school's football game Friday night, and my aunt from London was in town.
