Final 13

Can y'all believe tomorrow is December?! No complaints here but it sure doesn't feel like it in Kansas! It's supposed to be in the 60s the rest of the week, and I feel like I'm usually shivering in a heavy coat by this time of year. I just got back to Manhattan from a long Thanksgiving Break so that's what most of this month's final 13 pictures will be coming from, and now I only have two weeks left of school before I'm back home for winter break!

Let me know what your favorite part of November was in the comments!

17 Can't Miss Cyber Monday Sales

I am an avid online shopper, and when it comes to all the sales around this time of year I always find the best ones on Cyber Monday! I'm trying my best to keep my wallet tucked away because so many of these sales are dangerously good! Free People items are nearly 50% OFF at Macy's (!!), some of the coziest sweaters of the season are 30% off at H&M, everything at Express is 50% off and so much more! Today is the last day of these holiday sales, so shop quickly!

Friday Favorites

Anyone else feel like this week flew by? I'm already dreading next week's workload (only one week until Thanksgiving break!!), but for now I plan on enjoying the weekend! Today ended up being a lot more fun than I anticipated. After class my friend Macy and I went to the gym, Panera and Target together, so that's why today's post is getting up a little late. Then tomorrow I'm planning on going to the K-State football game! But before I started winding down for the night I wanted to share with y'all this week's favorites!

High School Stranger to College Best Friend

College is a time of new beginnings and fresh starts, but that doesn't necessarily mean with new people. Today I wanted to change pace a little bit and share with y'all one of the most important and influential people in my life, Nicole. We went to high school together for four years, but it took moving to Manhattan for us to really get to know each other and become friends.

Denim Jacket: Favorite Layering Piece This Fall

TOP: Altar'd State pocket tee | JACKET: similar HERE | PANTS: Marshalls (similar HERE) | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Francesca's (old, similar HERE) | NECKLACE: Rocksbox Sophie Harper necklace | RING: Rocksbox Rudiment ring | LIPS: Maybelline lipstick in 'Divine Wine'

Several years ago I realized I hadn't worn my denim jacket in years, and with it taking up precious space in my closet I passed it down to my sister. But a couple months ago I started to see them coming back in style, so before I moved to Manhattan for the fall I stole it back out my sister's closet, and it has quickly become one of my favorite layering pieces this season!

The Best Time to Wear a Striped Sweater...

SWEATER: Scoobie (available in stores or sarah@shopscoobie.com, similar HERE) c/o | SKIRT: Express black skirt | SHOES: Target black loafers | EARRINGS: Gold hoop earrings | LIPS: NYX butter lipstick in 'Root Beer Float'

...is all the time! Except this one doesn't have a turtleneck, but I think an exception can be made when it's this soft and lightweight. (Please tell me y'all got my Spongebob reference...!) I tell myself I have too many gray sweaters all the time, but this one from Scoobie was way too cute and cozy for the end of fall and winter to pass up!

Friday Favorites

Hey y'all! Happy Friday and 3rd birthday to Falling for Autumn! Three years ago today I launched Falling for Autumn and haven't looked back since! I was planning on doing a separate post to celebrate three years, but it completely fell of my radar. Next year I'm going to try to be a little more on top of things and share the story of how it all began, but for now I'm just going to leave y'all with this week's favorites and celebrate by myself with a pint of ice cream and Netflix!

One Blanket Scarf Styled 2 Ways

DRESS: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE) | SCARF: Altar'd State (identical HERE) | SHOES: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Gold hoop earrings | WATCH: Daniel Wellington leather watch | LIPS: Maybelline lipstick in 'Pink Me Up'

After a super cold Halloween (it was snowing in Manhattan!), the weather is starting to go back to normal, fall temperatures, and with the fall chill looking like it's here to stay I thought I'd share with y'all two ways to style this blanket scarf with the same dress!
