Final 13

Can y'all believe tomorrow is December?! No complaints here but it sure doesn't feel like it in Kansas! It's supposed to be in the 60s the rest of the week, and I feel like I'm usually shivering in a heavy coat by this time of year. I just got back to Manhattan from a long Thanksgiving Break so that's what most of this month's final 13 pictures will be coming from, and now I only have two weeks left of school before I'm back home for winter break!

Let me know what your favorite part of November was in the comments!

Nicole and I always hang out between our classes, and on the Thursday before Thanksgiving break we relaxed on the balcony at our Student Union and watched people put up Christmas decorations.

Please tell me y'all have heard of the Quaker dinosaur egg oatmeal before?! That's the only oatmeal I'll eat, but Nicole had never heard of it before I ate it one night for dinner!

I am by no means exaggerating when I say I have kitten fever! This upcoming summer I will be adopting a kitten of my own, and for the time being, I've been obsessing over the adorable kittens local shelters have been posting on their social media!

I was hanging out in my brother's room and found several bags of these chips. Clearly he thinks they're really good, so maybe I should try them out sometime too?

There are few things better than curling up in bed with my laptop and my cat by my side! Thor has only become cuter and cuddlier with age!

After shooting some pictures for the blog on one of the coldest days of the week my sister and I stopped by Baskin Robbins to get some ice cream! My sister thinks I'm crazy, but the winter is by far my favorite time to eat ice cream!

To mix things up my family and I went to our country club for lunch on Thanksgiving along with my grandparents and my uncle's family. It was a quick and easy way to get some traditional Thanksgiving food, and then for dinner my family went over to my other grandma's house for enchiladas!

Towards the end of my Thanksgiving break, Thor and I became addicted to watching Fixer Upper on Hulu, and I just thought he looked so cute sleeping as I got up to get a snack.

This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of co-hosting Gordmans' #gThanks event for Giving Tuesday with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City! It was so fun to get to talk with people from the community and help them shop for the holidays!

I never thought I'd be the type of person to care about using coasters, but at the end of a Fixer Upper episode the other night all I could think about was this family leaving their glasses on their brand new table! Who have I become...?!
