One Blanket Scarf Styled 2 Ways

DRESS: T.J. Maxx (similar HERE) | SCARF: Altar'd State (identical HERE) | SHOES: similar HERE | EARRINGS: Gold hoop earrings | WATCH: Daniel Wellington leather watch | LIPS: Maybelline lipstick in 'Pink Me Up'

After a super cold Halloween (it was snowing in Manhattan!), the weather is starting to go back to normal, fall temperatures, and with the fall chill looking like it's here to stay I thought I'd share with y'all two ways to style this blanket scarf with the same dress!

The first way I wore the scarf was tied around my neck. This is by far the most common way to wear a blanket scarf, and I love how it just gives a pop of pattern up top. The scarf is super cozy and warm, so on a chilly day it will definitely help keep you warm. With the scarf around your neck you can also throw on a cardigan to make yourself a little warmer as well.

I also thought this scarf looked beautiful styled like a shawl. I folded it in half and then draped it over my shoulders for a different but just as warm approach. I actually like wearing my blanket scarves this way more because it's so incredibly comfortable. With the t-shirt dress I feel like I'm wrapped up in a blanket and my PJs at home!

How was everyone's Halloween? Like I said, it snowed here in Manhattan! I'm not a huge fan of the cold, but snow does make it a little more bearable. In my opinion Halloween is a little boring in college, so all I did was go to Chipotle to get a $3 burrito. My mom also sent me pictures of Halloween costumes from when I was three years old (yes, I had more than one), and we were cracking up! I included some pictures below. For the record, my mom did not approve of any of these. She wanted me to dress up like Belle from Beauty and Beast, but apparently I was in a "spooky" phase!

I think I need to start stepping up my costume game and make all Halloweens like my third Halloween haha!
