The Best Time to Wear a Striped Sweater...

...is all the time! Except this one doesn't have a turtleneck, but I think an exception can be made when it's this soft and lightweight. (Please tell me y'all got my Spongebob reference...!) I tell myself I have too many gray sweaters all the time, but this one from Scoobie was way too cute and cozy for the end of fall and winter to pass up! 

For warmer fall weather, I paired this simple sweater with my favorite black skirt and these black loafers that are a total steal from Target for less than $25! They were a piece I didn't think twice about picking up on one of my many Target trips in September, and I've worn them a ton since! But I'd be careful about sizing. I had to size up an entire size and probably could've gone up one more, but other than that they're super nice quality and a must-have dupe for all the designer ones trending right now! 

Also, you can't tell since I styled the sweater tucked in here, but the sweater actually has a beautiful back where the fabric crosses, so for chillier days I think it could beautifully stand alone paired with skinny jeans and black or taupe boots as well. Honestly, the ways to style a classic, lightweight sweater like this one are endless this time of year including layered underneath a vest, over a dress or dressed up with a skirt and tights for the holidays, which is why I loving picking up basic pieces! 

How was everyone's weekend? I ended up watching an excessive amount of Friends the past three days, and I don't really remember what else I did to be honest! I'm currently on season 9 of the show, and I can almost guarantee that I'm going to go through withdrawals when I finish it! Any recommendations of what I should add to my list to watch after?
