Rainbow Row

SWEATER: Impeccable Pig sweater | BRALETTE: Altar'd State bralette | JEANS: American Eagle jeans (similar HERE) | BOOTS: Hunter gloss rain boot | SOCKS: Hunter cable knit boot socks | EARRINGS: Pearl stud earrings | LIPS: NYX butter lipstick in "Root Beer Float"

One of my favorite sights while I was in Charleston was the pretty homes both on Rainbow Row and along the Battery. Walking by the bright homes added a cheerful vibe to the otherwise dreary day, and I couldn't get over seeing flowers in December the entire time I was in the city!

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post it was raining on and off the majority of my days in Charleston, and as the week progressed it continuously got colder and colder outside. While the weather was nothing compared to the negatives Kansas was experiencing at time I was very glad to have a couple chunky sweaters and boots.

I got this super cozy black sweater from a local boutique, The Impeccable Pig. I love the v-neck, and whenever it got too cold I just threw this striped scarf on top to keep me warm! This scarf has seriously been a lifesaver this winter, especially in Kansas. On my walks to class I usually tuck it into my coat and snuggle my face into it to warm myself up! Also, this sweater is super oversized, which I love, but for sizing reference, I got an XS.

I was super thankful that my sister packed her Hunter boots as well, so I could have an alternative other than my Bean boots when it was raining outside. Her foot is well over a size bigger than mine, but with the thick boot socks it ended up not being an issue at all!

What do y'all imagine when you first think of Charleston? For me it's always Rainbow Row. I feel like all the vibrant colors, flower boxes and gas lanterns on this little block perfectly encapsulate the charm of the entire city! Thanks reading today, and I'm super excited to share my Charleston travel diary with y'all tomorrow!
