Cropped Turtleneck Sweater

SWEATER: Target turtleneck sweater (sold out, similar HERE) | SKIRT: Scoobie (available in stores or sarah@shopscoobie.com, similar HERE) c/o | SHOES: Target (old, similar HERE) | EARRINGS: Francesca's mini tassel earrings | LIPS: NYX butter lipstick in 'Root Beer Float'

You all know how a trip to Target goes; you walk in for one thing and come out with waaay more. Well this adorable and cozy sweater was the result of a Target trip gone awry. I walked in to pick up a tissue box, and the next thing I knew my friend Macy was holding up this sweater that I couldn't resist! Unfortunately, this exact sweater is currently sold out, but this outfit is super easy to recreate with similar pieces!

Around this time of year my mind gets into major spring mode, give me all the florals and pastels please, but the weather isn't quite there yet. We're talking 13 degrees this morning my friends... I like this sweater paired with this deep orange skirt for the winter, but the minute springtime comes around I'll be switching it out for a light pink! I don't know about y'all, but I just can't get enough of sweaters that I can transition into several seasons! I also love the cropped and boxy shape of this sweater; I think it looks effortlessly cute paired with a tighter skirt.

But enough of the outfit, how have y'all been?! I've said this before, but I struggle with balancing everything the minute classes start up again. Since I last updated y'all I celebrated my 21st birthday, became a copy editor for my school's newspaper and kept myself busy with several sorority events.  Although, this week, despite everything, I felt like there was this giant emptiness in my days. I came the conclusion that it was because I had been neglecting my blog, and let me tell y'all, it feels SO good and natural to be back! I have a few more wintery outfits I'm excited to share with y'all, and hopefully the weather will start cooperating soon so I appease my spring fever!

Thank you Scoobie for sponsoring this post!
