Patchwork Cardigan

It's officially the time of year when I can't go anywhere without someone saying, "I bet it's your favorite season right now!" Spoiler alert – it is, but what happened to the good old days when I didn't have to give my name every time I placed an order at Taco Bell?? Anyways, the leaves just started changing colors here in Manhattan, and I am loving it! If you ask me, fall makes everywhere look so beautiful! Also, the weather is finally starting to mellow out a bit, so now I can start wearing all my cozy fall sweaters like this adorable patchwork one from Red Dress Boutique!

Now I'm not going to lie, I debated about whether I was going to keep this sweater or not because it is definitely on the itchy side. I obviously ended up keeping it, and I lowkey justified my decision simply based off how cute it is! I love all the fall colors incorporated in it, and the first time I saw it, it definitely reminded me of a Topshop cardigan I was obsessed with last year – only at a way better price. Plus, as long as you wear a shirt with sleeves underneath it, it's not that itchy at all. I've worn this cardigan all day a handful of times now and haven't felt uncomfortable once!

When styling it, I chose to keep everything pretty simple with a white v-neck, dainty gold necklace and my favorite high-waisted jeans from the boutique Bling here in Manhattan. There was a little bit of a chill in the air in when I took these pictures, so I wore my western booties with some slouchy gray socks, but I've also worn this outfit with my go-to white tennis shoes, which was super cute and comfy, too!

Has everyone been having a good week so far? I have a project due tomorrow, but other than that, it's been surprisingly smooth sailing over here. Also, I know I talk about my cat a lot, but Aspen has started this incredibly adorable new thing where she'll tap my shoulder in the middle of night until I wake up, just so she can snuggle under the covers with me. It seriously the most precious thing ever! Alright, that is all from me today. Talk to y'all next time!
