Yesterday, in an effort to solve my seasonal dilemma (Fall? Winter? I still don't know!) and hype myself up for a class presentation, I decided to swing by Public Hall – a coffee shop here in Manhattan. I've never been the biggest fan of public speaking, but recently, I've found that pumping myself full of caffeine helps me get through it better haha! Does anyone else do something like that, or is it just me?? Anyways, once I ditched my coat, I lounged around in this incredibly comfortable and versatile plaid shirt I've had since July. It's one of those pieces I firmly believe you can wear year-round and is perfect for a variety of occasions.
Whether I'm just hanging out with friends or needing to look somewhat professional, this shirt has been a go-to for me. I'm so sad that it sold out before I could share it with y'all, but I have my fingers crossed that it'll restock soon. Although, if it doesn't, Madewell still has lots of similar shirts available right now, too! To complete this look, I wore all of my favorite fall accessories because winter is already starting to come way too soon. I talked about my love for these ankle boots last week, and I still can't rave enough about how comfortable and cute they are for less than $25. Then, I wore my tortoise hoop earrings, this gold pendant necklace and my leather watch – all of which are staples in any jewelry collection!
How has everyone's week been so far? I'm definitely counting down the days until I get to go home for Thanksgiving break – only two left! But, in the meantime, I've been enjoying my fill of yummy Thanksgiving food. Last night, my roommate and I had a bunch of people over for Friendsgiving, and then tonight my sorority is serving a holiday-inspired meal! What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Surprisingly, mine is green bean casserole! I'd love to know yours in the comments below.
Beautiful picture dear! I like your blog, wanna follow each other?:)
